OVERNIGHT PARKING
There are three designated areas in the center of downtown where you will be able to find free overnight public parking. Please see the maps below for further details on their locations:

Street Parking - OVERNIGHT PARKING WINTER restriction
The Town of Middlebury prohibits the parking on any Town roadway between midnight-6:00am from November 1st through March 31st, except where existing signage permits such parking, to ensure that the Town can efficiently plow the roads in the event of a snowstorm. The overnight parking locations listed above can be used by a resident/visitor who is otherwise unable to park on the street during overnight due to this restriction.

Electric vehicle Charging Locations in Town
Throughout Middlebury there are a growing number of EV charging sites located both on public and private properties. The Town has installed downtown both Level 2 & Level 3 (DC Fast Charging) charging sites at the Mill Street public parking lot downtown, just one block west from Main Street. These EV charging sites are publicly available 24-hours a day.

The many other EV Level 2 charging locations around Town can typically be found on the various app and web platforms which assist EV owners to locate the nearest vehicle charging site, and those platforms can provide additional details about the specific availability of those other sites.

The Town's Energy Committee is presently working to expand the public EV charging sites available throughout the Middlebury community!
