In response to the ongoing threat to public health posed by the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all Town of Middlebury buildings and facilities are now closed to the public. Buildings will remained closed until we receive notice from state and federal officials that it is safe to resume normal operations.

As everyone is likely aware by now, the situation in Vermont and around the country continues to evolve rapidly and we may find that today's reasonable mitigation strategies soon need to be revised in response to updated recommendations from the Vermont Department of Health and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Town officials are receiving daily guidance from state and federal authorities as they learn more about the coronavirus and how it is spread. We will continue to keep the community informed via email, the Town of Middlebury's COVID-19 web page and social media as new information becomes available.
