East Middlebury Fire District #1
Established by statute, the East Middlebury Fire District #1 is an independently-elected legislative body (unaffiliated with the Middlebury Selectboard) that governs East Middlebury's Fire District #1 and manages the East Middlebury water system and the Sarah Partridge Community House. Among its duties, the Prudential Committee establishes water rates for residents and businesses in East Middlebury.
For issues and concerns relating to local public matters other than the East Middlebury water system, such as sidewalks or roadways, please direct those questions/concerns to the Town of Middlebury's Manager's Office.
